The best time to visit Machu Picchu is during the dry season, between April and October, because during the rainy season, this spectacle cannot be appreciated in all its splendour, as it is covered with clouds and the weather changes.
Machu Picchu is located between the Andes Mountains and the Amazon rainforest, the climate is warm and temperate, with an average minimum temperature of 12°C and an average maximum temperature of 24°C. April to October is the dry season in the region, i.e. the probability of rain during this period is low, and November to March is the rainy season, i.e. the probability of rain during this period is higher. Despite the above differences, being a subtropical region, it can rain every day of the year.
