On this day trip you will have the opportunity to explore with a guide the amazing landscapes of the center Archaeological site of Moray and the amazing salt mines of town of Maras (salt mines). They will also have an excellent visit visit the town of Chinchero and its textile market that will show you its different handmade fabrics.

DIA 1: Cuzco - Chinchero - Maras - Moray

Our transport will come to pick you up at your hotel and we will go to our first stop Chinchero (textile center). Declared as historical heritage which is located about 40 mnts from the city of Cusco, it houses a textile center where we can see how they process llama wool and we can see the different fabrics. After the visit we will head to the salt mines.
Cuzco - Chinchero - Maras - Moray
At this point we will visit the salt mines of Maras (50 mnts from Cusco). we will have 1hr time in which the guide will explain the salt extraction process and we will have time to take pictures and be able to make purchases of processed pure chocolates with the salt of maras.

After the visit to the salt mines we will visit the archaeological center of Moray, which are like terraces or agricultural platforms that are concentrically superimposed taking the form of a gigantic amphitheater. There the local people used to experiment with agricultural crops due to climatic variations. After the visit we will return to Cusco at 3:00 pm.

Moray is an archeological site that is located near Cusco, in Peru. It is characterized by being made up of several circular platforms and is located at 3,500 meters above sea level, part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We recommend you bring:

Personal kit
Medication to avoid altitude sickness (if you consider it necessary).
Original Passport
Camisa de manga larga y pantalón largo.
Extra money for tickets
Comfortable footwear (if possible waterproof mountain shoes)
Medium backpack between 20 to 25 liters
Long sleeve shirt and long pants.
